Doesn't demand a pay off after failing and quiting?. Well that's good of you Karl, what a top decent bloke you are.

To be fair, most other managers in the game would. There are a lot of very wealthy men who made their fortunes through being sacked. Think of how much Slade has made in the last couple years alone.

Not half as much as Pardew has and will once he's sacked by WBA or Allardyce who will, inevitably, be given his marching orders by Everton. Or Steve McClaren who will, no doubt, join the merry go round once again soon enough.

Yes to all of the above. I just wanted to pick Slade because he's a local example. But Pardew, fuck me.

I mean look great work if you can get it and those teeth don't whiten themselves.

The reporter asked Robinson whether he demanded a pay off. He only answered the question.

Shrek 2, Kung Fu Panda 2... the list is endless.

    Shrek 2 is awful.

    I think you meant Aliens.

I think the new/prospective/potential owners understand pr and how to get the supporters with you unlike the current antagonistic lot, think this might be a throwaway comment to prove they get us.

He started his career at #cpfc, don't you know?

Mind you, during that time he used to turn up as an apprentice to watch the mighty Addicks at Selhurst.

It would be so good to get him back with rich new owners who give him free reign. Feels very much like there’s unfinished business.

Definitely unfinished busines. He needs to lead us out at Wembley for starters.

    I like these Aussies already.

Some hate filled people on the darkside will be livid. Get in☺.

I see some have said they'll be finished with Charlton if it happens.

Just makes me want it even more.
But of course they aren't racist.

Eh? I must have missed something. Belgian owner with slightly odd ideas of a restaurant pyramid with football clubs to provide the clientele, no problem. Rumours of several potential owners with lots of money that may need a bit of a wash, no problem.

    Australian consortium, can’t stand them?

I don't think it's anything to do with racism. @AFKABartram summed it up a few months ago.

Chris Powell’s biggest crime to some ‘Charlton fans’ is simply that he is loved by the majority of Charlton fans.

Chris Powell’s biggest crime to some ‘Charlton fans’ is simply that he is loved by the majority of Charlton fans.

I know its a quote from a different thread but ohhhh soooo this^^^^

And the `some' Charlton fans its referring too? The, in the whole scheme of things, insignificant, vocal but tiny in number fans of course. The fans that claim to be fans but their individual support is based on mitigating, deep rooted, personal circumstances. Its not a point of blind support from these individuals. Its a point of which caters for their own bespoke prejudices, be it supporting individuals that are employed by the club (previous regime), or more bizarrely and bitterly (it seems) by defaultly opposing individuals that support and achingly long for the well being of the clubs health. Individuals that have given their own free time, their soul, their life to supporting the club in which ever way they can. These people have been attacked, and venomously/bitterly attacked as well....for what exactly? For the crime of loving the club too much and having too much public exposure whilst showing it.

The pathetic, repugnant Apologists despise Chris Powell. And whys that? Cos the rest of us love him, thats why. He epitomizes everything they are against. He bleeds this football club, fucking bleeds it....and thats what they simply cannot stand.

Most people have this thing about `never go back', and I tend to agree. It certainly applies with regards to birds....although as I'm typing this I confess I'm, shall we say, `renegotiation' with a particularly juicy ex....I'm approaching 50 so a different set of rules apply from you youngsters but such is life. Anyway, I digress....never go back unless its Chris Powell. In that case, fucking digress ALL DAY LONG.

Aussie consortium, whoever you are, and if you're reading this......tap up Southend FC pronto, get the figure they want, add a chunk enough so they can't refuse, sign Chris Powell up ASAP. Consider this part of your `purchase price' expenditure. Signing this man will be the best fucking piece of business you'll ever do with regards to immediate fan relations. Give him £1.5m to spend on squad building and he'll get you to the Championship. This isn't a fanciful view, its a fucking reality.

    Very well said.

I love the man, he represents all that is best about our wonderful club. Chris joined Charlton about the time I started taking my boys and for me he is one of their role models, a man they look up to with pride and respect. It's not just about his love and passion for Charlton but also because he is the most gentle of gentlemen I have ever met. He oozes integrity.

The only reason I wouldn't want Chris back is because I wouldn't want to see him take abuse if things weren't going well. That said, come back home Chris.

I never thought of that, although I can't think of one other reason why anyone would dislike SCP. #nicestmanintheworld

The Belgians have torn apart this club since 2014.

The aussies/whoever can start the long road back by appointing Powell.

The football club works better with Charlton people.

They just shown the record breaking Powell win against Barnsley on the big screen - is it a hint?

Most do look at Harris at millwall. I remember them saying they wanted the Powell affect when they appointed him

If it is, it's a sign that Two Shats has no control over the comms team. I can't imagine old yellow-tooth sanctioning a video where Powell is the winner.
