What that says to me is Robinson would be better off as a general manager of a club doing recruitment and no where near picking the side and tactics, where he could never see the patently obvious.Aethelstan said:

I get slightly annoyed when I say that Fosu is the best player in this division (as I have been known to do) and get one or two lols. Well I am going to say it again. If you want to give that a lol you are only showing your lack of football knowledge! He is raw, yes, but he is a special talent.10

Watched on the stream, scarcely believing my eyes. I had been worried that Plymouth had just been new manager bounce. Today, albeit against a lesser team, we were absolutely rampant more or less from the first five minutes til the end. I tend to be sceptical of changes in management, but bloody hell, how is it possible to completely transform a team so that everyone knows what they are doing, and does it almost faultlessly.
And make no mistake, there was some lovely football played. You will see it from the goal ction but there was plenty more. Fosu was unplayable, as he was when he scored that hat-trick at Fleetwood.
Like many others, if we do well against Rotherham, I cannot see how any sane person can remove Lee Bowyer from the job.10 -

James Seed you have spent months say they weren't Robinson players he couldn't do what he wanted in his three transfer windows, and the players weren't as good as everyone keep saying but average for the division.JamesSeed said:Not much wrong with that.

Gutted. As I wasn't at this match, no doubt we'll be back to normal next Saturday in Bristol!
What an amazing turnaround, it's easy this managerial lark eh Lee, 6 goals for 0 against in 2 matches. While it's great to play great football and score goals, if you include the Fleetwood game, that's 3 clean sheets in a row, which reminds me of a nice run to Wembley 20 years ago.

Bowyer on a perfect away performance
The Addicks led 2-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Ben Reeves and Tariqe Fosu and after the break the latter bagged his second before Josh Magennis completed the thrashing.
Charlton could have scored more - and it would not have flattered them - and afterwards caretaker boss Bowyer was full of praise for his side, who have now secured back-to-back victories in Sky Bet League One.
He said: "To come away from home - against a team that are fighting for their lives - and to come away with a clean sheet and four goals is brilliant.
"It could have been a lot more than four. The lads took everything on board again, moved the ball well, defended as a team and worked hard as a team, which is what we demand of them.
"In possession, we were outstanding as well. We created so many chances and I don't think our own goalkeeper made a save. It was perfect."
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Bowyer was asked about Fosu, who bagged his eighth and ninth goals of the campaign during the rout.
"The kid is unplayable and I just gave him a free role," Bowyer said. "Out of possession, he didn't really need to do anything because they started with three at the back; their spare man was a third centre half and he wasn't going to hurt us.
"I said to him that he didn't need to do anything defensively and asked him to try and get himself into areas where we could find him once we won the ball.
"I wanted him to go out there do what he does. He just glides past people, he's so strong for a small player and, as for his finishing, you saw the quality of that today."
The victory made it two wins from two for the caretaker boss, whose team sit two points off the play-off places.
"That's down to the lads," Bowyer said. "We set them out to play a certain way but to keep clean sheets you need to work as a team.
"In our last two performances, we have done that. We have hunted down in packs and then you get rewarded for that.
"If you work hard, everything else will fall into place, especially with the attacking ability we have got. I'm over the moon for the lads and I'm very proud of them too."
The Addicks now move on to Monday's clash against Rotherham United. Charlton won 2-0 at the New York Stadium earlier in the season and another win could edge them closer to the top six.
He said: "We have got eight games to go. We have to have the same attitude and we won't let that drop.
"We have got people on the bench who are quality players as well. If anyone thinks that they can just stroll around, which they haven't done, then they know there is someone else to take their place.
"We're exciting to watch at the moment because the lads are on it, they're hungry and they know what the reward is at the end of it. A potential place at Wembley and promotion."

Ben Reeves was in a very good mood after scoring his first ever header in Charlton’s 4-0 away win at Northampton Town.
The former Milton Keynes Dons man, who was influential throughout, netted in the 14th minute and recorded an assist for the Addicks final goal in maybe his best performance to date in a Charlton shirt.
Speaking to Valley Pass after the game he said: “It’s the first ever header I’ve scored. I’ve scored a few but I’ve never scored with my head. It was nice to finally get one. The most important thing was to get us going and I think after that first goal we were.”
He added with a smile: “It was about time I got one with this forehead wasn’t it.”
Reeves occupied a slightly different role to the more central midfield position he played in Saturday’s win against Plymouth, as he drifted in from a wider starting position on the right. In both games he has been singled out for praise by Caretaker boss Lee Bowyer for his workrate. Reeves said: “I still know I can play a lot better than that as well though, so it is just a good sign that I’m getting better and better. That’s my first three games in a row this season, which is important for me. It’s a shame I haven’t been able to do that all season but hopefully coming into the most important part of the season I can keep going.
“I feel good at the moment, I don’t like to say it. The most important thing is to play every game as well as I can and help the team as much as I can.”
When asked about the recent run of form under Bowyer he said: “It is not just the formation, you can see for yourself, something else has changed. The penny has dropped and we’ve realised this is it now. The crowd are behind us even more. It’s just good at the moment, everything feels good at the moment. Obviously Bows and Jacko are doing a great job and it’s showing on the pitch.”

Had to spend the day in the company of my mother-in-law today, it was her birthday so had to do the dutiful thing and take her out for a meal. Mrs AUN had one too many Woo Woos, my wife’s mums hubby ‘forgot’ his wallet (tight wanker bless him), my step daughter sat next to me munching on all sorts of meaty shit and my vegan platter was ok.......for a frickin’ vegan sparrow that is. And then I finally manage to find out today’s result. Get the f*** in! There’s nothing quite like the feeling of your team lifting your irritated spirit. Lee Bowyer, I may never have fallen under your spell when you were a ratty faced, suspect charactered oik of a teenager but my god, I’m falling for you now.

Charlton caretaker boss Lee Bowyer thinks it would be “dangerous” to rotate his team against Rotherham after thrashing Northampton today.
A Tariqe Fosu brace and goals from Ben Reevs and Josh Magennis maintained Bowyer’s 100 per cent start in the Addicks hotseat.
Charlton were dominant at Sixfields - and next up is promotion rivals Rotherham.
When asked if he would make any changes to his team for the Easter Monday fixture, Bowyer said: “It’s difficult because I nearly changed something today but I thought ’I can’t’ because the lads gave me everything last Saturday and to change things would be harsh.
“We had a longer break, but now Rotherham is like a Saturday-Tuesday game. Pagey [Lewis Page] got cramp again and his recovery was good after last weekend.
“But no, it would be dangerous to start leaving people out because they're in a good place.
“The biggest thing for me is if it ain't broke, don't fix it. At the moment, it’s not broken.”
Charlton never looked like conceding as they kept a third successive clean sheet for the first time since March 20149 -

Lee Bowyer has revealed the reasons behind Charlton’s recent revival.
Under the new caretaker boss, the Addicks convincingly beat an in-form Plymouth side and then put four past Northampton today to maintain their play-off push.
They are just two points away from fifth-placed Scunthorpe with two games in hand.
When asked what he put the club’s revival down to, Bowyer told News Shopper: “It’s hard work and making them believe in themselves. Like you've seen today, we’re a good team.
“You've seen it against Plymouth as well. It’s about having a togetherness and no individuals. That’s all I’ve instilled in them. It’s a game of football - go and enjoy it and express yourself.
“With Tariqe [Fosu], I said to him ‘when we’re in possession, get into an area where you can get on the ball. When we win it, we’ll hit you’.
“There were no rules for Tariqe today apart from defensively, if he could get into an area to help us that would be great, but if not, then we’ll deal with that. He’s enjoying that role.
“Football is an enjoyable game. When you start trying to give players too much information it can confuse them.11 -
