just been down the pound shop got all the tea towel they have. we can all look like shepherds at the next match.?

    It´s not really something the Emiratis are keen on, different culture as for example a Syrian or Lebanese arab would see it as a tribute to them and love it but the Emiratis are very keen to stay in the background and not cause a fuzz...In general that is.

    You should have seen the face of our new chairman (Khaldoon Al-Mubarak) when Thaksin raised his hand and encouraged him to acknowledge the crowd at his first game, he looked so embarrassed...lol

    Ummmm... Not too many sheep in Dubai fella. Not that shepherds wear tea-towels anyway. Of course, you could dress up with a tea towel on your head yourself, like - if you want to be seen as an ignorant no-mark Sun reading toss.

    Whoa - have you even SEEN some of my previous posts? If you think THAT one's insulting you want to check out some earlier pearlers of mine...

    Besides, 'insulting' would be to do what kmem's suggested. Its sort of like the equivalent to having Japanese investors visit your firm and running round wearing comedy kamikaze headbands screaming 'BANZAI!!!' at the top of your voice. Lets not scare 'em off before they've even pumped a penny/dirham/krona into our club eh?
