I wonder if they will still honour the promise of free season tickets if we go up? This is an exciting time to be an Addick. I keep getting the image of the Harry Enfield character say "we are richer than you" anyone know the Palarse and Millwall numbers? lol

  • My palace friends were round last night. And i did give it some "we are considerably richer than yow"
I dont think the season ticket will be a problem, were're not going up.

im sure that deal would still be on

They would not want to upset people so early and the BIG if is if we did go up its teh Sky money that will cover the freebie

I think this is an academic argument as I think we are unlikely to gain promotion. Head talking rather than heart.

The more interesting question in my opinion is will they offer the same next season to keep the attendances up?

I would not if I was them, my argument would be:-

"Our aim is promotion, our resources are geared for promotion, if you believe in the club come and support our new superstars and journey with us to the Premiership."

If we don't go up, I can see the offer being withdrawn if we make a load of big(-ish) name signings that'll sell the tickets instead.

Richard Murray has already said the offer still stands.

I think the last couple of comments have been in relation to not going up at the end of this season

I was responding to the first comment.

We shall see about this season. I know 3 points is a big gap to make up to reach the play-offs and there are only 36 games to go but I still think we have an outside chance

I still think we will go up, though I have always been an optimist and have only managed to see 2 games, Reading and Ipswich. What I have seen in those two matched tells me we more than matched two teams that are meant to be there abouts for the play offs at least. If we can start a good run, the confidence should flow and the results will come.
