    A very difficult question to answer.

    If I was to try and sum it up in a word then that word would be family.

    I was taken by my father and grandparents and in my turn took my younger brother and children. There is a bond there and it has become part of me. I'm not one of those who can claim never to have missed a match over the last 45 years. I have rarely ever attended away games for a start and missed a lot of matches when I played sport myself although the friday night matches in the 70s did me a big favour there! I rarely went to Selhurst and only really started going again once the East Stand was completed back in 1994.

    As I've posted elsewhere I'm sure the takeover will price me out of going but it is the only way the Club will survive.

    Richard Murray and others have reached the end of the line but are being proactive in seeing that the Club does not wither and die as happened in the Gliksten years.

    No it's not. Sorry but that is a lazy comparison IMHO

    Those who are religious may well see that as insulting to their beliefs esp comparing a football club to a divine being.

    Those who are not religious, like me, may see no real comparison. CAFC does not set out a ethos or moral code for living my life, offer me ever lasting life or a route to heaven. And without wanting to start a row I know for sure that it exists.

    Im going to keep randomly posting this every now and again.

    What a shame, what could of been a real decent thread ruined by nit-picking, patronising, and counter silliness.

    I put out an honest plea yesterday in relation to posting etiquette. Seems some couldn't be bothered to remember a word of it. I now have to waste 15 mins tonight editing out all the crap. Cheers
