    It was Glenn Poole who scored for Brentford but MacDonald is playing.

    Two of Pardew's recent striker trialists as well on the bench, Ademola for Brentford and Canham for Notts County as well.

    Josh Wright - neat & tidy without ever imposing himself though did make one very good clearing header
    Myles Weston - full of tricks and had the beating of the full back but end product lacking
    Charlie MacDonald - set up goal but, as Brentford hardly kept hold of the ball and only created two or three chances all night, struugled to shine. Did set up Brentford's goal though.
