If not him then Steve Lovell @ Gillingham.
Both Paul Cook and Karl Robinson have done well with Wigan and Charlton but on our budgets that should be a given!!1 -

I know this is obvious but, budgets really are not a given when it comes to collecting points or the likes of Sheff U wouldn't of taken so long to get out of league 1 and numerous clubs who have spent a fortune in the championship would be in the Prem by now. AFC Wimbledon manager (2 wins, 3 draws)
Scunthorpe (3 wins, 1 draw)
Wigan (1 more point than Bowyer but played 1 more game in month)
Blackburn (1 more point but we played much tougher opponents)
Bowyer, 4 wins against 4th, 9th, 3rd, and 2nd in a Saturday/Tuesday month, no nomination!0 -

Nice that we are now getting recognised for the football side rather than the backroom turmoil. 2 players on 5 goals apiece,4 wins on the trot,game postponed due to international call ups,Lee Bowyer in line for manager of the month,long may it continue.7

The September nominations for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month Award are:
Lee Bowyer (Charlton Athletic)
Any hesitancy the Charlton board may have had about giving Bowyer the job on a permanent basis was swept away with a run of four successive wins, 13 points from five unbeaten games and oodles of intricate, flowing football.
John Coleman (Accrington Stanley)
Coleman’s shrewd leadership has them dreaming of upward movement after gaining nine points from five unbeaten matches.
Kenny Jackett (Portsmouth)
A second successive nomination for Jackett whose Pompey side didn’t miss a beat under his assured guidance. They gained 11 points from five unbeaten games, including a clinical 2-1 victory at previous leaders Peterborough United.
Grant McCann (Doncaster Rovers)
As a player, the Northern Irishman loved space in midfield in which to create. Has employed a 4-3-3 formation to stretch defences and give his players the same freedom. They responded with 13 points and 12 goals from five games.
The winner will be announced on Friday 5 October.
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ EFL League expert Don Goodman; EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.

Going by the points won I'd be surprised if Bowyer didnt get it
I think they should look deeper though and on the job he's done it should surely go to John Coleman as the bloke is working miracles with Accrington - they're not just competing at this level but challenging too2
