    Not saying that the point raised is not a valid one, but this is potentially a problem for many games and not just Fortnite.

    F1 Esports started last year, F1 teams getting involved and Fernando Alonso has his own esports team.

    Agreed. But it's not just games, kids are addicted to looking at a tablet/phone. I worry about the social element and their posture.

    Just seen on Twitter that ‘Ninja’ is currently live on Twitch playing Fortnite with Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Kieran Trippier with nearly 200k viewers. Crazy.

    Fifa has very good safeguarding measures as their growth has been sustained over many years.

    The problem with Fortnite is that the growth has been so rapid that they’re unable to respond to reports of abuse quicker than 48 hours. They’re playing catch-up and it seems this issue is taking second priority to game development.

    It’s a problem because you can’t really get into the game properly without voice. But if you allow your kid voice Cr access he could be exposed to all sorts:

    I keep my PlayStation at friends only and that seems to do the trick. Not friends of friends which could be any fucker, but people who I know about:

    Seems reasonable enough to me, surely the parents have to be the first line of defence for stuff like this?

    I never progressed past ping-pong. However my machine did have a shooting game and gun where you'd try and hit a fast moving dot. I soon realised that if you shot the score that was displayed at the top of the screen it registered as a hit. I used to thrash my Dad on the highest speed setting!
