Japanese TV confirm McDonnell weighs 143.9 at the venue. So he’s gained 26 pound since the weigh in.

Inoue weighs 131 (gain of 13 pounds)

It's not really gaining weight as such, it's more you're rehydrating plus adding fatty foods. Weight cuts are more about removing pretty much all water from your body. Cutting a lot of weight many times is a dangerous thing to do.

Groves has reportedly passed the medical ordered by the WBSS

He will fight Smith in the final. Date not confirmed yet but likely to be around the end of the summer now.

Kalle has stated many times how they feel it’s important to have the finals done and dusted before the new season starts. So you’d think it has to be done before September.

Bit of egg on my face here! His uncle was absolutely adamant it was off on Cup Final day. Glad it's been extended and will be going up for it. Supposedly September.

Thought you were a bit premature unless something had happened in camp as the fitness test I was told that was due hadn’t taken place

I had two dates told to me today mate soon as I get the venue info I will message you and those that went to the MEN

I will only be sourcing tickets for those who got them from me at the 1st fight

as the tickets went from the boxers like hotcakes and we’re not part of any boxers package like other fights

In other words Kalle and Nisse know they won’t struggle to sell the fight

Not the first time that’s been said mate! Yeah one of my pals goes Chelsea with George’s uncle and he was confident that George wasn’t going to be ready. Pretty much told us it was off, but obviously not!

Ha - Just seen Carter already asked this!

Is this likely to be early, mid or end of Sept? Only ask as I have an uncanny knack of booking holidays that clash with more important stuff!

Press release says end of August / Early September. Date and venue confirmed in the next couple of weeks

Seems early September most likely but as said before, they want the final done before the new season of the series starts, which going by last year was mid/end of September.

Billy Joe Saunders has pulled out of his fight with Martin Murray for the second time. Another "injury"

To be fair, I think the first time was a genuine injury but this time he isn't even trying to hide it. Openly talking about the need to make business decisions when you get to his level.

Rumours that Saunders v Golovkin is in advanced stage of negotiations

August at the O2 most likely.

Does anyone who has seen the size difference between Fury and Seferi today, still believe Fury gains anything meaningful from this fight, except for the reputed more money then he earned fighting Wlad?

Just a thought, fury hasn't fought for ages, and left with his head in a mess. He probably needs to sample the training camps, the build up, the media, the waiting in the dressing room, the roar of the crowd, the sights smells and noise, and get that monkey off his back before he has to hit anyone or avoid being hit. I imagine he'll get the taste for the big fight back.

I think he'll gain a lot from it. His opponent will get some decent money and some profile. And a smack.
  • this is not a fight about anything else than timing and getting the rust out Tyson told me himself rd 1 if he feels like it or rd 3 if he doesn’t

But the fight between Terry Flanagan and Maurice hooker was a difficult sell neither man a decent ticket seller so the Tyson fight although he would ensure would never play second fiddle on another fighters card was just to get back in the swing of it

I am a big Tyson fan and I know it’s a farce fight but it sold out in no time and helped sell a world title fight for a very good humble decent man in turbo

The biggest question for me is why is Tyson with Ben Davidson when Billy jogged him on so quickly after one of the worst performances of Billy’s career to date and what can he offer the big man to me he needs to be back with the main man Peter

No inside knowledge but boxing forum I go on has a few people suggesting Tyson could be shot and that's why Peter not training him? I hope not love the big man

Belotti just obliterated by Ryan Doyle, calls of an early stoppage but Belotti was getting smashed on the counter every time he threw a punch. And looked really out of it on the way down in my opinion
