A New Word For Lazy

There has been a lot of very justified critisism about journalists on these boards over the last week or so. I've noticed previously, and this week has seen the trend continue, that such moaning frequently involves the word "lazy". Frankly, I think that some of our grumbling about journalists has itself become lazy, with a fixation on that one word. In fact, "lazy journalist" and "lazy journalism" are so overused, I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the next version of the OED. So what other words might we use to describe them?
