    He doesn't have a "source". He's a journalist so he just made it up!

    Mind you, even if he did make it up at least it's nice to have a "source" that's not given us bad news.

    I think I might be onto something here News Shopper. How's about printing another story saying that a "Charlton source" has confirmed that the takeover is virtually a done deal and that Charlton are "expected" to make a number of new multi-million pound signings in the transfer window.

    I wish these Bloody Source would just disapear!!!!! I have decided now not to read any 'A close source at the club says' As we are in the DD stage of the deal NO ONE can say anything so im just going to sit tight and wait for the news to come from Richard Murray Waggy or Chappel. I cant take all this 'theve gone elsewhere' crap anymore.

    Come on guys, we know that the "Shopper" does get some inside track stories. At least they go to press conferences/briefings by the club. Lets give them a little credit. It remains the case that we are still in a due diligence process and it sounds to me exactly as the "source" says. This "source" comment is saying pretty much exactly what Zabeel said about the West Ham rumour.

    And we know that Newshopper is a blue nose mickey anyway. He admitted himself on here last week so that means the story is true. Or false. Or something. ; - )

    And imagine we are taken over. If the press make up this much stuff BEFORE how much more will their be after. Beckham to sign, moving to Wembley, etc etc all day every day.

    in my opinion that 'story' is no different from the one's we were slating the Mail and Guardian for last week. An official source can't comment as we are in DD and they are prevented from saying anything so all an official source could say is 'No Comment'. Newshoppper has joined the rank of sloppy journalists who have deceided to make up stories so that we visit their websites to read them. Come back when you have got something to actually report.

    clarifying ? how ? By quoting an un-named 'official' source. Your story doesn't differ from any of the others.

    Aha it is un-named because of the very reasons you mentioned in your earlier post.

    I don't make quotes up though. If I wanted to earn a living doing that then I would have applied to join the West Midlands Serious Crimes Squad instead of doing this : )
