So, who do we want to win today? Hampshire or Yorkshire? Both are very good sides. Either way Kent must be the underdogs.

Edrich Lower is in the shade of the above tier and can be a bit of a wind tunnel on a breezy day, apart perhaps the front dozen rows, which are usually in the sun.
Edrich Upper & Mound Lower are in the sun all day.
If you're choosing from them I'd go for Edrich Upper.

Probably will go for the Lower Mound stand, a decent view from there and easier to get in and out to as well (especially as it's above one of the main ale bars!)

    Hampshire 44-1 after 8 overs.
  • That's a bit of luck. Bought tickets yesterday in mount lower

Will the England white ball players be available for the final, as the last Australia game is on Wednesday 27th and the first India T20 match on the 3rd July?

A Yorkshire with Root, Bairstow, Plunkett and Rashid back will take some beating

Make sure you take suitable clothing to keep warm, as it can be quite chilly and windy down there, depending on the forecast.

    Thanks for the advice, CE.

However, being East Stand regulars at The Valley, we always travel with a blanket, hot water bottle & flask of hot soup....

The Lower Mound is out in the open though, when the sun's out and facing you it can get really warm as well!

Quite right. Sorry Jean I was thinking of the Lower Edrich.
Correction the Lower Mound is out in the open and probably in the sun all day.
So if the sun's out it will be warm/hot and if it's warm and cloudy it will be ideal.
I'm losing the plot trying to do too many things.

By the way, if anyone has bought tickets in a different area and wants to sit in the “Kent” end, email: ticketing@mcc.org.uk and they’ll help trying to potentially swap them for you.

Gutted I'm away for this, but what an incredible game yesterday. Very good news we have Henry available for the final too.

In the other semi, Hampshire are 277-4. Northeast got 58, Vince still there on 150.

Can't see Yorkshire winning this, Hampshire 334-7 after 48 overs.

Reece Topley gets to face 1 ball and hits his first ever six in pro cricket. Bresnan presumably contemplates retirement

Two southern teams will boost the crowd hopefully

Weird how cricket works when compared to other sports, with central contracts and international call ups. Yorkshire have FIVE players in the England squad, whereas for Hants both Vince (171) and Dawson (4-47) were left out and delivered match winning performances.
