Panama are a shithouse team. Should have had a bet on yellow cards.

Can’t wait ‘til we have 48 teams involved.

Pretty much all the top sides look vulnerable in behind. Pace is the key this tournament

Apart from 5-0 Russia in the first game and 2-0 Croatia, every match has been decided by one goal (or a draw).

    I'm claiming that one :D
  • Has Dembele been injured?

If not then it's incredible that he doesn't start.
  • Floodgates have opened. Panama rivalling Saudi as the tournaments worst side.

Did I just hear Mark Lawrenson correct, saying Darío Gómez is known as "The Truncheon" for obvious reasons

Nope. For some reason, he isnt first choice for Belgium and that has been the case for a while.

Want Belgium to score as many as possible, 2nd in this group is favourable

I'd have thought he was a better midfield option than Witsel who's been fucking about in China for the past 18 months.

Panama are very poor, and to think they made it to the World Cup at the expense of the USA who sometimes have a relatively decent World Cup.
  • If that had been Panama player kicking De Bruyne in the belly than the other way round think you'd have seen a red card.

Whether he meant it or not.

Hopefully De Bruyne will pick up a second yellow in the next match and be suspended for the England match

Nice one BBC, show a montage of England's worst moments in the last 12 years that will gee us up FFS

FIFA have to sort out VAR. Not too upset by it but Argentina were deprived a definite penalty. Brazil were hard done by, by a blatant push. What are these officials doing in the VAR room - having an orgy? The WWE moves on Kane promoted this all to a complete farce. I am very pro using technology, but I am never surprised at football's ability to cock it all up!

Anyone got any links to reports of trouble after the match? I'm struggling to find any yet I was guaranteed by some on here that there would be.

So far it has been one of the best world cups for that aspect!
