Meanwhile, we set Lancashire 602 to win (just to be sure?) and until a few minutes ago they were 126-0. Still think we set 100 too many. Declaring 500 ahead is a guaranteed win

We've not really looked like taking a wicket for the last hour, it's all been very comfortable for the batsmen

Bell showing his class, discarded by England too soon?

    Declared too early.

We declared when we did to have the luxury of 3 new balls.

If we can twinkle a couple out before the close it'll look a lot better in the morning

Kent are like Charlton. If there is a defeat to be snatched from the jaws of victory more often than not we will find it.

To be fair, it's now a flat pitch so it was never going to be easy.

The lack of penetration was a bit worrying though

I wonder if Quayum rather than Riley would have made a difference.

Watching Riley side on (from the CAMRA tent!) his action seemed quite jerky, especially at the start of the day. It did get smoother after a few overs, but he created relatively little threat, though to be fair that applies to the other bowlers as well (including Denly). I don't think he's taken a wicket yet in 1st team matches this season which must be playing on his mind.

Qayyum seems to be used mainly as a white ball bowler.

    280-1

Looks like Warwickshire are going to piss it!

Who'd a thought one would write that about chasing a target of 519!

Warwickshire this time yesterday were 250/1 to win this game. I thought about putting a couple of quid on them to win.

    I didn’t.

You can get 4/9 draw no bet on Warwickshire on Bet 365. Kent are 13/8 as of now.

I've just invested in Warwickshire hoping that my normal betting uselessness will come into play and save Kent!

We are making extremely heavy weather of our own defence of 600. The difference is that we really can't lose our one. You guys are actually starting to worry me now though

When Kent declared yesterday, I expected the new ball to take wickets and it didn't. So far the second new ball hasn't had any effect either.

We desperately need a breakthrough soon or else we might have to start slowing things down to try and get the draw!

Clouded over completely now here in RTW area.

Commentators wondering whether a change in the weather might help our bowlers.

Let me know if my undisputed dancing skills are required.....
