Watching Riley side on (from the CAMRA tent!) his action seemed quite jerky, especially at the start of the day. It did get smoother after a few overs, but he created relatively little threat, though to be fair that applies to the other bowlers as well (including Denly). When Kent declared yesterday, I expected the new ball to take wickets and it didn't. So far the second new ball hasn't had any effect either.
