including various lifers making the arduous away trip to Barnet to take on the Champions in the first game of the season. Try not to get two players sent off, lads, is my advice.

Due to injury I'm out but Shirty 5, Rock Spectacle and Afternoons Delight, Tommy Dowling et al will no doubt do us proud.

Home games in Bartrams from 8.00pm. Away games in a pub somewhere up town usually.

06/11 Burnley home
20/11 Sunderland away
19/02 Man City home
12/03 Sheff Wed home
02/04 Dagenham away

Got to get the good young players in the squad. Up to Ledge to fight for his place.

Competition is good, keeps everyone on their toes and means we have cover for injuries etc.

We lost 46 - 70 against the football quiz team equivant of the Eggheads. Only 4 of us were there (6 needed), but we held our own and i was told that 46 would win some games. Very enjoyable but some of the questions were tough to say the least. Will put a few on here later.

True, 46 would win most games and Barnet are very good/anoraks especially about all the silly non-league stuff.

Do put some questions up. Glad you enjoyed it. Ledge will never get back in now ; - )
