Ha, ha love it.
Be good to see Cav back to full fitness to see what he can do against the young guns.1 -
Assume they will be going up Alpe-d'Huez this year?0

Yeah Stage 12... (19th July)Hastingsaddick said:Assume they will be going up Alpe-d'Huez this year?
Team Time Trial will also be returning this year (Stage Three)1 -
Really hope so, nothing pleases me more in a Summer of Sport to see Cav winning stages on the Toureaststandmike said:Ha, ha love it.

The selectors must have looked in your fridge and spotted those bags of blood and that dodgy inhaler you use.T_C_E said:Cant believe I've not been selected!!

Geraint Thomas wants to win the Tour. Apparently no team tactics upto stage 9.

Ironic that the first 9-days arent really going to decide the winnerIT_Andy said:Geraint Thomas wants to win the Tour. Apparently no team tactics upto stage 9.

They bloody better - I've booked to stay at Bourg d'Oisans that weekHastingsaddick said:Assume they will be going up Alpe-d'Huez this year?

Love the Dimension Data launch3 -
Adam Yates is in for Mitchelton–Scott, no sign of Simon Yates which isnt a surprise
Richie Porte (BMC); Dan Martin for UAE Emirates (no Aru) - Kittel (Katusha) | Quintana (Movistar) | Bardet (AG2r) all there as suspect; Dan McLay seemingly misses out with Cannondale, means Cav | Froome | Rowe | Thomas | Yates are the sole British involvement0 -
Possibly, but the team time trial will put at least three SKY riders in the top five after the first week. They demolished the field at the Criterium by 37 seconds.ForeverAddickted said:

Was supposed to be heading out on Thursday to catch the opening 3/4 days - really excited as it would have been my first 'live' viewing of the Tour.
Stage 2 sees them going right past where we stay at St Pierre du Chemin and even had permission from the missus to paint the road with 'Roland Out'
Gutted in having to postpone it.

For those unaware, but I'm sure most know, highlights on ITV4 , freeview 24 7.00pm and usually show live coverage in the afternoons. Usual cast of Ned Boulting, David Millar and Gary Imlach , always worth a watch.2

Not a done deal then ;-)IT_Andy said:Geraint Thomas wants to win the Tour. Apparently no team tactics upto stage 9.

I'm having shoulder surgery on the 13th July and have taken 3 weeks off work after to recoup.
I wouldn't wish a dislocated and broken shoulder on anyone, but luckily great timing for TDF viewing.
Think I might dress up in lycra every day. Is there any such thing as a cycling full kit wanker?4 -
Yes, yes there is.2

This is a joke from the organisers
Why only now have they decided to make a decision, they've had months to do this!!0 -

I’m sure the timing was pre-planned for maximum disruption.ForeverAddickted said:This is a joke from the organisers

If it goes ahead, hopefully G or Yates will destroy Bardet and the other French contenders.1 -
If the organiser (ASO) "reserves the right to refuse the participation in – or disqualify from – the event, a team or one of its members whose presence is liable to damage the image or reputation of ASO or those of the event” then on what grounds can Sky appeal it?
Who gets the final decision?0
