1) Only 4 clubs* in the premier league and football league have names that start and end with the same letter. Who are they?

(*may be more than 4 as question is a few seasons old but probably still only 4)

2) Which is the only club in top 4 leagues not to have any of the letters in the word "mackerel" in its name?

    You are aware Doncaster Rovers starts with a D and ends with an S

    While we are harking back to school day questions he is another of the same vintage; one club in the all of the leagues in England and Scotland has a letter in it's name that no other team does.

    Crewe, Halifax, Wrexham, Oxford and Exeter. Really don't know which are still League clubs.
