Hope he does get back and playing well. He’s going to be invaluable this coming season.2

I was at that game where he did his knee. Looked like nothing major at the time. Must be a big psychological road to go down. Come on Billy, keep going lad, you are a quality player!!!!!!4

Had a great chat with him at POTY, he was looking forward to pre-season and getting fit. Hope he has a great season.3

Was our stand out player until he got injured6

Watching it on the stream I said out loud "oh no he's done his cruciate" when it happened. It was completely innocuous, just one of those where the studs get caught in the turf and you crumble.EdgeleyAddick said:I was at that game where he did his knee. Glad he's close to doing full work. A very good, potentially very important player. Even if he can't take part in all the football stuff getting through the conditioning in pre season is really important0 -
Really rate him.
Trouble is Bow likes 2 up top so unless we move to 3 at the back I can't see him fitting in to the system other than to change it up off the bench or if we use him out wide.3 -
Bowyer seems to want to bring in a defensive midfielder so I’m quite confident that Clarke could compete with JFC for a creative birth.cantersaddick said:Really rate him.

He could do well in a strike partnership with Lyle Taylor as well... if we wanted to play a 4-4-1-1.4

Be good to get him back1

Very intelligent footballer who we really missed last season. Hope he's back soon.5

Billy could adjust wherever he was asked to play,we are definately a bettert team with him on the pitch2

Where does he fit in with Bowyer's 4-4-2?
Not enough goals to be a striker?
Too lightweight to be a centre-midfielder?
Or does he play as a Graham Stuart-type tucked in wide midfielder?0 -

He was the engine room for Fozzy away at Fleetwood. They were on good form going into the match and we took them apart.
Need him back and 100% fit.2 -
Which is really just a 4-2-3-1ShootersHillGuru said:

He will, when fit, go perfectly in the current central role bowyer likes just behind two strikers.5
