A facilities manager once told me that electric dryers are a really bad idea. He explained that as you rub your hands dry the bits of dead skin, etc get trapped in a paper towel. Air dryers blow all the skin debris and God knows what else around for other people to breath in. (Probably explains why a player is off sick with pneumonia.)

Fans stop going when they see no ambition from owners plus we sold players from 65 to 75 that could have held there own in the top tier if we had a decent owner. No, the 3,001 was a 1-0 win I think. I was working as a tray boy that season, walking around the perimeter track and offering Wagon wheels, Walkers crisps and Kiora drinks to all and sundry. Think I only got about £2.50 in sales that night, and they paid me £1.50 of that!

We've already decided against travelling to both the Sunderland & Accrington matches and as well as missing a home game when we go to Tenerife in October, we're also planning a 3 day trip to Disneyland Paris with the whole family which means missing another.....something we would never have considered before the Belgians came to town.
To top it all, Fanny's tingle is in terminal decline after all the false dawns of recent months.
It will take something very special to relight this particular fire.....
