Have these been released? If not, when will they be? Any predictions on squad numbers for our huge haul of new signings?

    Not yet.

Might as well just fill 1-18. Might make the back of the programme a bit smaller....

I’d imagine it will be today, be surprised if Sunderland havn’t been sent them surely they’d need to print them on the back of their program, Lyle Taylor will be 33 and not 9 I think, and no number 1 yet ?

They have been released, yes. But they still need to report to the Spanish Embassy once a week.

The delay is that Vetokele wants to fight Fosu for 14...but both are too injured just now.

They could both wear it, in vastly different sized shorts

Retiring the number 4, or is Jacko playing again?

Ajose number confirms he's off, like when Elliott was given an absurdly high number before signing with Newcastle.

Dijksteel confirmed as being regarded as a full back, and Morgan looks to have secured a squad role

26 players with a squad number, however nearly half are academy players. Worrying times.

Don't think it's that necessarily. Just appears to be an unwritten rule at CAFC that if you're an academy player without much expectation of minutes, you'll get a squad number in the 30s or higher.

That's why Albie Morgan's number is IMO the most interesting of the bunch.
  • Only just noticed as well that Mikhail Kennedy has got a number

Also interesting seeing that he's almost on last chance saloon and I imagine only has a Contract because he got that nasty injury last year
  • Not been able to see Albie Morgan play. Is he deserving of a first time squad number - suggesting he will be in and around ?

Him, Doughty and Lapslie have looked decent in pre-season.

Yet Doughty is also in the U18s with Morgan yet doesnt get a Squad Number

Another big signal with regards to Morgan I think
