Angeldust, on the other unmentionable site, saying Duchatelet now actively looking for executive staff to run the business, as Australian consortium have failed in their attempt to broker a deal for the club.

How about a few players too?

Word on the street is that Roly or more likely one of his minions, is now looking to appoint staff to run the club.

I’d say that the Aussie’s are out of the equation.

Honestly believe we will see at least Aribo go tomorrow, probably Bauer as well. No one will come in and Bowyer will walk.

    Utter mess.

    for fucks sake

No need to worry with the Aussies deal dead in the water. There is also the second (imaginary) bidder.

When and if Bowyer walks then so do I (after Accrington game as I have booked hotel and paid for train and match tickets)

Are the roles being advertised as 1 month rolling contracts?

Well, precisely. How many people would be prepared to (i) work for Duchatelet (ii) work for rubbish money and (iii) commit themselves to a job that's more than likely going to be short-term? And how many of them are likely to be at all competent?

Well, precisely. How many people would be prepared to (i) work for Duchatelet - someone out of work (ii) work for rubbish money - someone out of work and (iii) commit themselves to a job that's more than likely going to be short-term? - someone out of work. And how many of them are likely to be at all competent? Competency not a requirement.

I am out of work and totally unsuited to the role, when can I start?

I was told today by the trolley collector at Asda that the Aussies will not complete without clean title and they are waiting for the Rat to sort out the Directors loans. Lol

    I see you've met Roly's next CEO.

Genuinely can't believe the EFL / FA go to all the trouble of vetting buyers of clubs and have the power to stop a takeover for whatever reason, but don't have any kind of Code of Conduct for owners to stick to, to help ensure they remain "fit and proper" as far as their Clubs are concerned for their tenure. What do the fit and proper people do when there ain't any takeovers to check? Lazy laaaazy bastards

Looks like RD is applying Nixon's madman theory to the sale of the Charlton - look how irrational and bonkers I am trashing my own asset, come and buy it off me before I damage it anymore.

Back in June angeldust claimed the Aussies walked away and Roland was looking to appoint staff. Hopefully he’s wrong again this time.
Australian party have pretty much all but walked away I've just been told.

Duchatelet actively looking for personnel to run the club next season.
  • who the hell is angeldust, has he got things right before?

Imagine a decent upstanding potential owner is nixed from buting a club, due to some minor technicality, while the current owner who passed the EFL's requirements when he bought the Club, trashes it before their very eyes....

RD has to start the process of recruitment if it's silence from the Aussies----only Daisey can vet 20 CVs,check refs, interview and appoint in 12 Hours.

It's RD till the club or he is dust

Cheer up, a day and half to go until the transfer window closes. Bowyer said we’d 100% be making signings, so good news can’t be far away

Seems to run a site about going into the valley and is it’s major mouthpiece. Seems to have links into the club but not always right...
  • I remember where I was when I heard that the zabeel (spelling?) takeover fell through. I wonder where I’ll be when I hear that we are stuck with Roland forever

I think we need a separate thread where we log rumours from posters, and if they became true or not. That way we can collate the % times a poster is right. I'd probably have AngelDust down at 7%, and that's being generous.

    Wrong on both counts

Posts elsewhere but it's nothing to do with him.
