    Not many votes for poor old Roger Moore! He was the Bond I grew up with. Modelled myself on his interpretation of 007 in adult life.

    Agreed, Patrick Moore would have been better...or Dudley for that matter.

    Connery all the way but I have seen Craid yet though.

    BTW, have any of you checked out the latest Blu-ray releases? Bought Live and Let Die, and was not disappointed, just hearing the theme tune blast out in 5.1 was awesome. They've worked hard scrubbing up on definition and depth in colour. The only thing that made me crack up was that such was the clarity, that you could see that the snake used in one of the first scenes of the movie was a toy prop. Had never noticed until seeing it in high definition and it looked very funny.

    The Forum needs tidying up. Too much non-football stuff, too much contraversial topics, too many people looking to get a rise out of others, or indulge in petty pointscoring, and too many people not showing respect to other users, or the ethos of the site.

    Threads from 2008 are ok it's just recently that the Forum needs tidying up. Too much non-football stuff, too much contraversial topics, too many people looking to get a rise out of others, or indulge in petty pointscoring, and too many people not showing respect to other users, or the ethos of the site.

    I always think of Roger Moore as The Saint, Simon Templar. Not 007.
    His son thinks the same way, apparently.
    The story goes that they were having lunch one day when the son commented that he couldn't believe that he was eating in the same restaurant as James Bond. Moore said, "Well, I am your father, after all." The son said, "No, James Bond." And pointed to another table, where Sean Connery was sitting.
    I agree with Roger Moore's son.

    George Lazenby was very underrrated, but probably too Connery-like without actually being Connery.
    He is getting a divorce from former tennis star Pam Shriver, who has had two MUCH older husbands.
    Can't say that I ever saw Pam Shriver as a Bond Girl!
    Anna Kournikova still might make it, though.
