Excellent read need to check the spelling.

Interesting stuff, but I don't think that it's true that we were not on TV between '47 and '66. There's definitely footage around (centenary DVD?) of a 50s game v Man C (complete with commentary by the great and still-alive Cliff Michelmore)

Good work Stig. Once all seven sections are joined up, it’ll rival the Bayeux tapestry … (but it’ll be more interesting - and important of course).

Wonderful stuff. Just one JS correction @sage - he was sacked on 3rd Sept ‘56, not 1st. Resulted in my mum going into labour 3 weeks early because of the shock.
His sacking was front page news at the time, unusual for a ‘sports’ story.

Dulwich Hamlet Reserves on 23/12/1911 at Dulwich, by 2-1. Winning goal was an own goal.
