John Martin RIP

Good afternoon; John Martin, who supported Charlton from the 1940's, sadly passed away this morning.

Some of you will know John; he was a great guy who loved Charlton. He was a founding and very well known member of the Greenwich Suite in the West Stand, he was a North Stand Patron - a small group of supporters who put £25,000 each into the Club to help towards the cost of building the North Stand, his name is on the plaque outside the North Stand reception - and he helped to fund many of the first team and the CAFC Veterans team's overseas trips in the late 90's, early 2000's.

John leaves a widow Betty and 2 sons.
