Home & Away with Charlton Athletic 1920-2004 - Copies available from The Museum

Due to a generous donation from the family of Colin Cameron we have acquired a number of brand new copies of Home & Away 1920-2004. Compiled by Colin Cameron it is the 2nd edition , revised and updated from the original book which came out in 1992. Hardback , it has over 500 pages detailing every Charlton match played. Priced at £25 the Museum have copies available for the bargain price of £8. Due to the weight of the book we can offer postage but postage would be an extra £12 , copies can be collected from the Museum or Bromley Kent. All money raised go to Museum funds. We would like to thank the family for their generous donation of these fantastic books.

Are there any plans to update this book?

Museum are doing the Valiant 900 first but we've discussed the best way to do this as well. Paper or on line, as an additional volume 2005 to 2020, or a complete record 1921 to 2020?

One of the trustees is working on a prequel, 1905 to 1921.

I've got the first edition of this, but am looking for an updated version.

Colin has legendary status as a statistician and author, but did anyone take over the chore of keeping the record books up to date?
Is there a version of this beyond 2004?
  • No there has not been an updated version since 2004. We still have some brand new copies available.

  • Hi Nick,
I'll have one, please, if there's one left.  I can pick it up.
  • Copies can be picked up from me in Bromley. The museum will not be open for a while unfortunately.
