Sunspot Observatory Closure

So it would appear that the Sunspot Observatory has been closed in the USA as well as a local postal office...
It seems the media cannot decide between the following scenarios:
1) A UFO has been spotted in front of the sun.
2) A Solar event has been predicted that could cause a mini Ice Age and the first predicted incident has been recorded as happening by the observatory.
3) A Package has come through the postal service that contains dangerous chemicals.
4) The Chinese are spying.
5) The Russians are spying.
6) A potentially habitable planet has been spotted and they intend to send Roland there...
