    I really think we should leave this sort of thing to the newspapers.

    You could ask the same question of any of the stuff in the "Not Sports Related" category. Personally I'm glad to see stuff on here that broadens the mind a little. I'm not personally familiar with Studs Terkel, but I'm going to find out about him(?).

    This is a sad loss. "My American Century" has become a favourite of mine and I'd recommend it Stig.

    Well worth getting a copy from your local library. Great oral history told through ordinary people's tales.

    His real name was Louis but everyone called him Studs. Can only guess cos his father was a tailor.
