[cite]Posted By: AFKABartram[/cite]Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for me.

Quality player, quality finisher. Never in the press, always smiling, has come back from career-threatening injuries, and snubbed the chance to move a number of times. Seems a nice bloke as well.

AFKA......I have never disliked a player so much. That public schoolboy look and irritating behaviour. He really did need his head flushing down the toilet.

Awesome shout re Luis Enrique NSS. My favourite Barca player ever (with the possible exception of Nadal). Other Barca players I've loved over the years are De La Pena, Xavi and Iniesta - must be something about diminutive Spanish midfielders!

Absolutely love watching Gerrard when he's on form as well and, at the moment, Messi is just sublime.

The goal that Solkjaer finally put in the back of the net was the best of CAFC's Great Credit Gorge years in the early 21st century. or was it late 20th....
  • Dennis Irwin. Was that guy even ever booked?

From the past Mick Mills, Joe Jordan and Michel Platini (the player, not the horrible arrogant official).

From the present, Leicester City have a fantastic young prospect called Chris Powell, I'd love to see him in a Charlton shirt.
  • Leroy totally agree Luis Enrique is my complete player.

Spent time in Holland in my youth and got to watch some great players at Ajax. Ive always admired Overmars, Bergkamp and the de Boers even when they moved away.

One from now I admire (agree with WSS) cant go to far wrong with Jimmy Bullard (a hard worker and a 'real' footballer)
  • Jimmy Bullard and Leicester's Powell and Kish.
  • Steve Bull.

    ALWAYS did it against us.

Unlike some current managers, never did it just for the pay-out.

frank lampard - pure class scored 100 league goals from midfield quicker than a striker - for example Heskey.

I don't understand the hatred towards him I really don't.

Ditto Ledge. Lampard is quality. Always first name on my Dream Team, it's the other 10 that make it difficult

Because he has the best job in the world, a privilaged upbringing and still moans about his life. And the fat f***** cost us a creditable draw at the Bridge when he fell over outside the penalty area a few years back.

I think it comes from 4 things:
    1. He's never performed for England like he does for Chelsea.
    2. Wet Sham media people don't like the fact that he left their club.
    3. The silly way he sticks his tongue out whenever he skies one over the bar (usually for England).
    4. Disappointment that he's never been a propper beardy like his dad.

Wayne Bridge think he could do a lot for some of the other prem teams. Think he delivers an excellent centre at times too
