Referee: 4 - Very weak; 40 fouls, and lots more missed showed he could not gain control.
Steer: 6 - Very average, but no chance with the goal

Pratley: 7 (MoM) - Did well in his battle with Mackie, though tired near the end
Pearce: 6.5 - Much better on the left, and decent again
Solly: 5.5 - Did OK until Whyte came on then went missing
Reeves: 7 - Looks good on the ball and won the pen with a great bit of play (even if he might then have dived?)
Aribo: 6.5 - Starts well but generally fades, and did once more; missed a sitter first half!
Cullen: 6.5 - Cannot fault energy and effort
Fosu-Henry: 5 - Continually flatters, with no end product
Taylor: 5.5 - Overall ineffective, but that might have been because he was being fouled all the time
Grant: 5.5 - Ran well but lost the ball too many times when he shouldn't
Holmes was the best player on the pitch and we did well try close him down most of the time. Nice to see Robbo, and he didn't celebrate their goal at all.

Lots of fouls- yes - lots of Oxford players booked so can't fault the ref for that - Not outraged he missed a sending off because he didn't. Not sure what he was supposed to do.0

Steer: 6.5 collected the ball well, punting it up into the sky is a bit 90s

Very average performance so 6s all round except:
Dijksteel: 7 - looking more composed at right back.
Fossy: 4 - he could get away with his selfishness last year because he was on fire; damp squib though so far this season so needs to play for the team more.
Referee: 2 - better than Saturday's but that's a very low benchmark. Gave far too many soft free-kicks (to both sides) for little/no contact (not that contact implies a foul) thus disrupting the flow of the game but then refused to blow for some cynical shirt-pulling, holding, and a couple of more agricultural challenges. Not sure he could have done anything differently in the build-up to the equaliser, he couldn't have seen that Cullen was in trouble as Ricky was still lying on top of him when Oxford scored.0 -

Referee: 2 - piss poor. just needed to send one of those pathetic excuses in yellow that call themselves football players. would of stopped them with their embarrassing defending.
Steer: 6 - poor distribution but a couple of good saves and punches. don't think he could do anything with the goal.
Dijksteel: 7.5 - was strong throughout with little support.
Pratley: 6.5 - apart from a terrible sliding tackle that nearly led to a goal, solly cut it out before it became a goal, he did ok.
Pearce: 8 - solid. no nonsense (apart from once where he stuttered when it came to clearing the ball)
Solly: 7.5 - did well out of position.
Reeves: 6 - did well to keep the ball in to lead to the penalty. tried a few things but not a lot worked, especially set pieces.
Aribo: 6 - ok first half. went missing for long stretches of the second. poor first touch at times.
Cullen: 6.5 - playing too deep. reckon he could do well passing the ball further forward.
Fosu-Henry: 4 - very poor compared to what we are used to from him before the injury. seemed to play in the middle which didn't help.
Taylor: 6.5 - on the wing too much and cynically taken out when taking on defenders. some poor first touches which let him down a bit.
Grant: 6 - ran around. should of stuck his foot out to score from the great delivery from Taylor in second half.0 - Sponsored links:

Referee: 5 Difficult game with the spoiling going on but Dickie should surely have walked
Steer: 6.5 One reasonable save. Not sure about the goal as had half an eye on Cullen.
Dijksteel: 6.5 Got forward well a few times in the first half
Pratley: 7 Given that he is not a centre half he played well
Pearce: 6.5 Below par especially his fannying and wasting of free kicks
Solly: 7 as Pratley. Out of position and made one goal saving tackle in the box that stood out.
Reeves: 6.5 Big improvement on last season's model but just lacks something for me. Perhaps I'm too harsh.
Aribo: 7 Faded in the second half but did some good things in the first.
Cullen: 7.5 Unglamorous role but he plays it well and on a generally poor night my MOM
Fosu-Henry: 6.5 Not great by his former standards but easy to forget he was out a long time. Hopefully will get back to his best.
