According to the official site tickets are now on general sale. Is anyone going, or are people waiting to see if there's any sign of improvement before stumping up their 30 quid?

Sad to say i'm waiting to see what develops over the next week or two.

As i posted recently, we've lost 19 of the last 21 away games i've been. I don't go expecting to see the team win, but i'm equally fed up spending money and having miserable journeys home.

More likely to go than not go though.

    Wasn't. Then found out U21's are £20 :-)

Might go, will see how we do over the next few weeks.

We've had a pretty awful record of late at Loftus Road and never seem to play well, wether it's QPR or Foolham. If I do go, I may stump up the extra few quid and have a hospitality (lunch) package which in the past proved to be very good value, though with this new regime it may no longer be the case......I'll post again with the price if I get a quote.

Anyone remember a Sunday game at QPR in the mid-to-late 80s when they still had the plastic pitch and one of the players had been done over for 'playing away' in the News of the Screws that morning?

I think he'd actually been caught with the woman in the back of his car in the drive of the house while his wife and kids were indoors.

Anyway, behind the goal every time he touched the ball we sang his name to the tune of Bread of Heaven followed by 'does the missus know you're here'. One of the wittier moments I remember from our crowd!

I'm hoping it was a QPR player we were dishing it to (David Seaman?) But I've got a horrible feeling it could possibly have been our own Peter Shirtliff, as he certainly got done over by the News of the World around that time...Can anyone remember?

    I think you're referring to :-

Who's up Mary Brown who's up Mary Brown Tommy Tommy Docherty Tommy Tommy Docherty (to the tune of knees up Mother Brown).

Docherty was shagging her when at Man U. She was the wife of the physio Laurie Brown. This would have been about 1979.
  • Ahhhh.... bloody hell. I'm going. The football isn't right at the moment but what can I do. I'm a fan. I have to go.
