I went to the game this afternoon,both teams wasted clear cut chances,Billy Clarke twice put through by Maloney missed one on one chances,one where he tried to pass to Kennedy when he had an open goal in front of him.The Cardiff man was sent-off for a cynical violent tackle on Orcan when he was through on goal with only the keeper to beat,Blumberg's sending off was for a clumsy tackle when the Cardiff man was running through on goal.
The trialist Abraham[probably first name] resembled Ricky Otto [not the poster on this forum] looked quite useful in an attacking midfield position.
Our goal came when the Cardiff goalie slipped over outside the penalty area when attempting a clearance leaving an empty goal for Orcan to trickle the ball into the net.10 -
