Morning all - trying to follow the game and also entertain hyper-excited daughter who is celebrating her 4th birthday today!

A win would be nice before hordes of her pals descend on our house for jellly, cakes & pin the tail on the donkey!!
  • SemOdo blasts the ball well over the crossbar from a free kick. Holland still getting heavily involved.
  • Plymouth have only managed to open Charlton up down Plymouth's right hand side. Our left side defence is still looking a bit dodgy.
  • Plymouth are pressing more as the game goes on. Bailey shoves a player into touch, ignored by the referee. First noise from the home crowd.
  • Bailey screws a half chance wide. Being described as a "competitive match". We seem to be more than holding our own, and we are getting players forward at every opportunity.

Looks like we've had all the attempts on goal though. Haven't scored and you just get the feeling that when Plymouth get their first chance they will probably take it. That's why we struggle away from home.

Doesn't sound like either side are creating chances though...am I correct?

  • We are winning a lot of free kicks. Game is not really flowing yet. Neither team has created a clear chance yet. YougaN booked for a late block. Oh dear, he's got to be very careful now.

Jeff Stelling said something along the lines of, "This should make the fans of Charlton worried............ Plymouth's record is won loss won loss.......so they should be in for a win. But it's not looking that way."

The match summariser at Plymouth said the home fans were getting on their own players' backs.

The words 'careful' and 'Youga' don't dovetail too well Pete!!!
  • Plymouth free kick. Almost falls for Plymouth but well cleared by Youga.

  • Afternoon all.

Thanks for the great updates – keep 'em coming.

    Shame about the score though.
  • So much for working on our defending set pieces! Disgraceful defending from the corner. Charlton look very vulnerable from crosses. Now, where have we heard that before?!

lol, well i'm just glad we spent all week working on defending set pieces..........
  • Bailey has been booked now after a scuffle. It could all go very pear shaped soon.

Said it earlier. We played well but didn't score and they put their chance away. We are guilty of it all the time and it's unacceptable.
  • Charlton are looking "ruffled" and very vulnerable.
