is that if Pards goes, Peter Taylor is already lined up as our next manager.

This has come from a player!

I think Taylor still lives in Benfleet, Essex, so we would be quite local for him!

    Don't shoot the messenger!

I'm in the give Pards a chance until Christmas camp. But this has come from a Wycombe player, so it is my duty as a Lifer to pass it on!

No idea Soundas, but he's certainly a lot closer to Taylor than me!

Like I said, I'm only the messenger it's what I have been told, if you think it's bollox, that's fair enough, it's your opinion!

If we want to completely finish our club off then yes.
    BUT
    NO NO NO NO
    IT MUST NOT HAPPEN
....I would much rather an untried Kinsella, and get relegated with him than Taylor.

Can't see it myself, we rejected him after Curbs and he then mouthed off how he had rejected us, can't see the club forgiving that, plus we have had our fill of Palace rejects.

Why? ...Palace reject for a start, and if nothing else, re-visit his time at Leicester if you want to see the damage he can do.
  • not for me he seems to similar to pardew .

however he would be cheap so you can not discount anything
  • I can't see it - he's failed at every managerial appointment he's had in the top two divisions, only when he's managed lower league clubs where there is less pressure has he done a good job (other than a stint as England U21 coach where he was phenomenally successful).

Hope not, he'd be no better than Pardew, could see him being worse.

Not as if he's a young promising manager, he's been around for a while and never really done well with bigger clubs.

Agreed he did to Leicester what Dowie did to us.

  • We should be banned from having ex-palace players as managers, look what they do to our club.

Wouldn't surprise me if charlton were putting feelers out to see how much compensation certain managers would cost. If they do decide to ditch Pardew then they would need to move quickly to bring a replacement in. Being able to draw up a short list in advance so they already know the costs are involved, should help them make a quicker decision.

Pards said on thursday he doesn't expect to be in a job if we're still in this position by xmas. Maybe he's been given an ultimatum - get us out of it with the player you bought, or we bring someone else in time for the transfer window.

A mug of the highest order.

I know he had a house in Addington near West Malling a couple of years back.

Nay, Nay and thrice Nay. As for not banning ex Palarse people from managing our club in the main I would agree, but Steve Coppell is a very good manager and his appointment would be good, although it would never happen!.
  • Pilchard & Seth, don't sit on the fence mate,
tell us how you really feel !
