I can see us doing a southmapton last year, would we do a pitch invasion to celebrate staying up or would we just all throw eggs at pards?0
-
No, I still expect a lot more.
I wouldn't be celebrating staying up on the last day as that would be an abject failure by the club as well as being the herald of huge cuts in the playing budget for the following season.0 -
How many games are left? Have a word with yourselves0
-
i would take take staying up right here right now... cos it would mean NOT going down and we've got a lot more chance of going down than going up at the moment FACT0

those cuts kick in if we finish anywhere other than promoted though ...... right????0 -
I still think we will climb slowly out of our current hole.
Although if I am wrong I would happily settle for staying up at the end of the season0 -

Why ? Its a perfectly reasonable question.
In answer to the question, no, because we shouldn't even be near there come the end of the season. If we are, then whether i am angry about it or not would depend on who was in charge, and how long they had been.0 -
no I'd rather go down - we'd be a big club again with big away support - all those new grounds to visit :-)))) - -0

Because there so far to go, and it's a trite old line, but this league is odd at the best of times. But I just can't fully join the 'rusty razor blade' group just yet0 -
I remember exactly the same threads two years ago so yes.
World of difference between being a realist and pessimist.0 -
Ridiculous question - lots of games left and our luck is due a change
I still expect us to make play offs
I honestly feel us about to go on a run. Same players, same manager - just a change of mindset0 -

I'm aiming for the Top 2.0

[cite]Posted By: falconwood_1[/cite]I'm aiming for the Top 2.
definitely we've turned in two good performances and got 1 point...
if we average that out over a season...
where as when we didn't play well at donny and forest we got 4 points ... so if we can just sort it all out top two could be in reach0 -
What other option is there?0
-
It's hardly Sooper Al's fault it's just one of those seasons eh.
Nevermind, we've put in some great performances recently.0 -
I think we are about to go on a run too, but playoffs are probably asking too much,0

Most definitely.I think people need to take a good look at the situation. We are in serious danger of GOING DOWN.
A highly inexperienced team(at this level) with a manager who is showing a great deal of ineptitude.
The signs are there people.0 -
25 mins against Brizzle - they couldn't touch us
30 or 40 mins at Brum at the weekend - they could not touch us
We just need to keep that going.
Every season a team takes this division by storm with a storming second half to the season. We have the players...and we have some superb backup players too - we just need to get the confidence up a bit - starting this weekend
Come on you REDS0 -
I fear for the future of the club if we go down so yes I would take it.
However we should be doing better in this division than we are with the resources that we have.0 -
Simple question, simple answer
YES0 -

"How many games are left? Have a word with yourselves
Exactly Rothko hits the nail on the head!"
Take a look at the table.
No win in 7. When was the last time we kept a clean sheet??
Given the hard facts it's a perfectly reasonable question and yes I would take staying up right now.
The alternative is unthinkable.0 -
top and bottom of it yes,and as said above when was the last clean sheet?0
-
[cite]Posted By: northstandsteve[/cite]top and bottom of it yes,and as said above when was the last clean sheet?
10 games. drew 0-0 with forest0 -
At the moment, yes. However the facts don’t lie, and if we keep with Mr P for much longer, I do fear the worse.
Mr Pardew’s record since taking over against Fulham 27th December 2006. (League and Cup games)
Played : 89 (20 of those games whilst we were in the Premiership)
Won: 28 (5 in the premiership)
Drawn: 25 (7 in the premiership)
Lost: 36 (8 in the premiership)
Win success rate = 31%
However since the start of this calendar year, it looks like this
Played: 41
Won: 10
Drawn: 12
Lost : 19
Win success rate = 24%0 -
