Did anyone watch this film on talking pictures, it was on Sky either last night or Sunday night?
Made in the late 50's, the opening credits rolled to a back drop of an aerial view of south east London.
Taken from a plane, it moved slowly over Charlton clearly showing a 1950's Valley.

Kitcen sink, but not a classic like others of that genre. Film is mainly set in the '30's: which the Valley faithfully reflected decades later!0

Starring a young Sylvia Syms, who was born in Woolwich.0

And an equally young Melvyn Hayes although after his time as 'Gloria' in 'it aint half hot mum', it was hard to take him seriously as a gun toting tearaway murderer lolJohnnysummers5 said:Starring a young Sylvia Syms, who was born in Woolwich.
