I must say I thought he had died a while ago and would have been much older than 82. My mistake. Great actor. RIP0

My daughter used to work in a mews off Kinnerton St Belgravia. Albert Finney lived in a flat above her offices. She said ‘Bert’ used to come in for his post. A lovely man he was.0

Liked his cameo in Skyfall.Had aged considerably---still a great actor.
Thank you for all the entertainment.

Was brilliant starring in Dennis Potter's final play, Karaoke. RIP.0

Still think his version of Poirot is the best.....and how dare they remake it last year. So Inferior.
Saw him in a play in London late 80's with Frank Finlay. Great actor.

RIP.
I loved his performance in ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning’.
“Don’t let the bastards grind you down” is wise counsel. It is particularly apposite for Charlton supporters, albeit in our case, it is "bastard" in the singular.0 -
Great actor, forgot about Bourne, appalling Poirot!0

A brilliant actor who turned down an OBE and a Knighthood because being called a sir represents Snobbery.
Different gravy.
RIP Albert.

A fine actor. His drinking competition in the pub in SNSM is a brilliant scene. One of the original angry young men, a true film icon from a brilliant generation of British actors.0
