The "fitting and lasting" tribute was presented to members of PC Keith Palmer's family at a private Downing Street reception with the prime minister on Wednesday.
The memorial was then moved to its permanent home outside the carriage gates at the Palace of Westminster, close to where the father-of-one was murdered in March 2017.
