the kilkenny tavern opposite south wimbledon station is probably one of the biggest shitholes i have ever been in was some bloke that supported palace but apparently liked charlton
Bit of a long trek to the ground if you’ve had a few pints in that pub unless you’re planning on getting a cab and in which case you might as well drink elsewhere
I remember our first ever game at Plough Lane against the original Dons. A whole bunch of us used a pub on the corner of the ground, I think it was called The Sportsman. We got there as it opened and by midday the pub was so full of Charlton fans, the Wimbledon fans had to use the pub up the road.
One of the pubs is a tile place now and another is a Jordan’s wood place
Ended up going for the prince of Wales opposite Wimbledon station, does need reminding that it isn’t a central london pub £17.60 for 3 lagers is ridiculous money.
