could the protest fund not buy some shares in Melaxis and then get someone over to the next AGM to heckle Roland and embarrass him?

PragueAddick said:Before the Jim White interview I was distinctly unsure that this was going to help our cause. After that interview I have to concede that it certainly did. So there are lessons there for those of us who would have probably argued against it, if we were discussing it as an option.
However (as a passive but paid up member of ROT) I've long argued that Belgium is the place where we get at him. It's all about being smart and disciplined over there. For example, what a pity that we didn't have anything a bit more creative and a bit less potentially offensive to say than "Fuck off, Roland".
And let's not have a macho pissing match about fans "prepared to get nicked" (@nth london addick). The person who submitted Meire's resignation at Companies House would face charges just as much as someone who sprays a bit of paint. I think a bit more of the former, by which I mean smart action against his business interests, will worry him more than a bit of paint. I would have thought that the shareholders of Melexis might have something to say to RD about why he harms their interests by failing to sell a football club in a timely fashion.
(But also, let's not discuss in public, what kind of action that might be)
What is clear is that Belgium is the go to place for action against Roland. It clearly irks him not to feel secure in his home town.5 -

I don't have any sympathy for Roland but is this the answer? Made ourselves look even more desperate and stupid IMO.
Going tooled up may be taking it too far but if you feel the need. Strange that you should mention tool because I was thinking "What a .......".
I don't think crime was the way to go, I am not alone in thinking that 99% of Charlton fans want him out, but this act seems to divide people and I get that. It wasn't crime of the century no, but I still don't feel as though it helps the situation.

He's also expecting carnage if Millwall play either Manchester club at Wembley.
Sorry AFKA, only just read your no more Millwall posts.0 -

In in order to be able to attend you need a certain amount which was quite big and to ask an official question, an even larger amount.
Belgian company law (and other aspects of Belgian culture) appear superficially quite protective of and anti-free speech compared to the impression the UK gives (whether real or. not)2 -
Apparently the graffiti sprayers are watching the Box set of The Godfather to get inspiration for future escapades.
Does anyone know if Roland Duchatelet owns a horse ?

Its a bit of paint, easily painted over, or dissolved off the glass.....anyone would have thought somebody had been assaulted....get a grip. Its done its job and brought the old scroat back into the media and showed him for what he really is.......imagine what would have happened had he chosen Millwall Leeds as his social experiment into the world of English football......I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a bit of spray paint and crisp packets.5

Can I remind everyone of the kid assaulted by stewards at the behest of Roly's GMC to get less tolerant with fans. What has the law done in that instance? What goes around comes around.32

Listened to the talksport interview again and this has really rattled him so fair play to whoever it was.
Two things Roland hates. Having the responsibility of failure pinned solely on him and people bad mouthing him in Belgium.
So now we know.
Couple more tactical pushes and maybe we will finally rid ourselves of this joker.10 -
Oh what a bunch of cheeky scamps! Good work to whoever did that, it has given me a good bloody laugh. #RolandOut3

Breaking news, St Truiden police are keen to speak to any of the below who witnessed the painting of 'Charlton Rule OK' on a private premises last weekend. The initial description of men in wigs is now thought to refer to genuine hair....

Well maybe I have 😐0 -
I have met rich people. Some of them are quite wealthy. Some of them are in Duchatelet's wealth bracket. And some of them have much, much more money than him. And, apart from loads of money, expensive cars and nice houses, there is one other thing that all of these people have in common. CCTV.
Roland, if you're reading this, where's the footage?
Perhaps we can help identify the perpetrators. Maybe you, or your friends, or the friend of your friends, can share with everyone the CCTV footage. I am sure you must have some. And so must your friends. (After all, they're friends with a very rich person in the micro-electronics industry. I am sure they can get mates' rates on spycams).
Let us help you identify the people who did this. Share the footage. All of it. And not just the spray painting. Wind the tapes back so we can see them walking up to the building. Wind it back further, so we can see them putting their wigs on. And wind it back further still, so we can watch, carefully, as one of them slowly bends over and adjusts the duct tape on his shoes.
