I think Curbs has got to be eyeing a job at the next lower-half Premiership team to sack their manager, I would say none of those in charge at Sunderland/Blackburn/Wigan are particularly safe...

Souness is a good shout - I just feel we need someone experienced & motivational.

Jim Magilton at Ipswich shows that a Kinsella type appointment can work, but we need to concentrate allefforts on getting out of the mess we are in now.

Parky does not inspire me with confidence, I get teh feeling he was the Phil Neal to Pardew's Taylor.

[cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]So an informed guess based on him being out of a job?

That could well be the case, but I would have thought he was someone with fairly good credentials, and a South London background. However you may be right, after all he is an ex International and Premiership manager, maybe he'd be looking at a Premier side for his next job.

    Ollie (ian holloway)
    Darren Ferguson
    Jorge Costa
    Big Sam

    who i don't want
Mark Stimson-He does not know how to sign/play players sold their best player to Peterborough
Phil Parkinson-Good assisant but after what happened to Charlton when Les reed took over i can't see us in the prem with Phil
    Joe Kinnear-Can't stand him
Dennis Wise-Hate him as a player and hate him as a manager

I'm sticking with Billy Davies, knows the division, first choice before. Of the others mentioned none fill me with confidence. It won't be someone in work, can't afford the fee involved. Surprised Kenny Jackett hasn't been mentioned. Sanchez ? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!

    Davies, if not Big Sam.

Costa isn't the man, sorry, Premier League maybe, not this division, as are people who've been out of jobs for 2 years

Look what happened to him at Hull and look at them now, a decent assistant got them promoted with pretty much the same players and one very good loan signing. I really hope I'm wrong but really don't see Parky doing much with the squad we have, obviously he did well in the league below, maybe he just isn't cut out for the Championship, works the same way for players (Varney anyone?) so in theory the same for managers
