Well how many of the Charltonlifers made up the 500 'Mob' screaming for the Managers head after the game on Saturday, we had a few spotters there so we know some of those that were there so please own up.

For the record myself & Gumbo were no where near it probably just joining the A2 at that time.

I heard the noise and went and watched at the back to see how things would pan out after walking around i would say 300 plus easy.

I went there for about 10 mins to watch, left when they started singing sack the board. Most of the poeple there were pretty moronic to be honest.

I was watching the 'mob' and was more than a little peeved to see a lot of muppets jumping around and laughing for the cameras. Nothing wrong with those who wanted their voice to be heard but i saw to many people who were more concerned with getting on Sky.

Yeah, the Weaver stuff as well, senseless, the guy has a couple of bad games and gets that..........can't understand the mentality of some people.

    Scary bunch that lot.....................not

I swear those two girls at the front must have just wandered in the gate for a laugh and were locals
  • I considered it but decided against it as I knew what sort of stupid chants would of been aired, there was enough of that at the game, 'that's why we're going down' etc.

From the looks of the ones I saw on SKY, I'd bet my life that none of them were old enough to see the pre '92 Valley, or even comprehend what this great Club had been through in the previous eight years.

Now that was drama - none of this 'current manager fails, we want someone else who may not fail' rubbish.

Was meeting up with some others by the shop, heard the commotion so we went down to have a look. It was mainly youngsters as far as I could see. When "We want our Charlton back" started, me and the others all looked at each other and said "Bottom three, no money, no manager, losing every week.... I think we've got our Charlton back!" as this is what, over the years we're more used to.

It seemed reasonably peaceful, didn't hear the Weaver chants, a bit out of order those, there have been a lot worse performers than Weaver during Pardews reign IMO.

Heard them but had no inclination to join them.

Shame they don't make that much noise chanting positively during the matches in my view.

No, didnt go for the customary beer afterwards as I had my youngest with me and I think we were both on the verge of frostbite in our toes....so, we wandered back to the car after watching the player trudge off the pitch

I went to have a butchers after the game and there were about 15 having a go when I walked by.

What I do not get is the "we want our Charlton back" chant. No club has a right to anything and football is cyclical, for a club of our size to continue at the top table without serious backing is a non starter.

This is my club whatever division and although results/performances have been shocking I am not going to walkaway.

    Spot on !!!
  • i went to have a look and was also annoyed with sack the board chants and the anti weaver stuff.

to be honest some of the stuff they came out with was embarassing!!
  • Loved the way the cameras panned round to, er, a kid kicking a football.

I was in East London by then.
