My son is desperate to play football professionally and particularly for Charlton, I’ve explained to him the chances are very very slim however there are plenty of other jobs he could do that still involve working with football. Always remember the cup game at Fulham when, with the exception of Clint Dempsey, Pritchard was arguably the best player on the pitch. To have an entire professional football career come and go so quickly must have been hard for him but he's clearly got on with his life and I have nothing but admiration for him.

Now 35 but still playing, he’s signed for Lewes in the 7th tier. He’s also going to support them on various community projects.
I always think Lewes have one of the best ground names - The Dripping Pan. It’s up there with Lancaster City who play at Giant Axe.

Took my kids to the park this morning and met Bradley who was doing the same. Said he considers himself a Charlton fan and kept referring to us as "we" when talking about the upcoming season. Couldn't meet a friendlier guy.
