I really like that we’ve got a foreigner as our patron saint.

    Have a great day, everyone.

Heard a radio presenter apologising for wishing everyone a happy st George's Day this morning.

Why does St George's Day feel like a dirty word?

I wonder how many times it will be mentioned on the news/media compared to St Patrick's Day.

It doesn't and it isn't. Celebrate the day any way you know how. Go on the lash, paint the fence, cut the grass, do the weekly shop but be proud of your Englishness

Probably less than the number of times that people will mention how many times it will be mentioned on the news/media compared to St Patrick's day...
