Interesting that the mysterious international group seem to have moved relatively quickly

So it’s either 1) price agreed, papers not submitted or 2) have submitted proof of funds but can’t actually access the money or 3) offer received, price agreed but no proof of funds.

so they are all still pissing in the wind. Wrapped up by 30th June my arse.

Hmmm eager to be completed by 30th June

Sounds a bit of desperation to get people to buy tickets for the Play-Off Semi Final if they have any doubt - After all the takeovers always seem to start happening around big games...

I have it on good authority that the international group are headed up by Jeff Tracey and the consortium members are Virgil Scott, Allan, Lady Penelope, Parker and Brains

    1) Aussies still looking for investors; asked for revised budgets hoping they can squeak by on less cash.

    2) Mike Ashley still not sold Newcastle but happy to show how rich he is.

    3) consortium between JessieAddick Rossman92 NapaAddick and Stu_of_Kunming

Place your bets.  Ps did he comment on Addickted’s offer?

Why do they continue to spout on about a price being agreed.

    It's bullshit isn't it?

    part 3

Will promotion lead to an increase in the price of the club?

LDT  "no"  "The three different prices are agreed and will not change if we go up or stay down"

Q:  Will Roland go to the play off final if we get there?  LDT "No"

Q:  Will you go?  LDT  "yes"

When pressed on why the Aus/US and the British group were still seen as credible LDT said that these deals had "taken too long"  while the 5th group are still doing DD

Pressed again on why do you think that these groups are credible LDT said that the people leading on these deals don't work for nothing and want to get the deals done.

The 5th group, The International Brigade, have the money and have experience in English football.

I think I see the problem.

I remain of the opinion that promotion is the tipping point for some of the bidders to move forward and bring a deal to conclusion. A Championship team is simply more attractive than a League 1 team when it’s highly likely  you’ll lose your investment eventually anyway.

On the recent accounts LDT tried to defend the losses as they were coming down.

He was challenged on this as the losses were still very high and was told by me that they were result of incompetence over the past five years/

LDT said that it was unfair to say that the staff were incompetent.  I replied that I wasn't speaking about the staff but about the leadership.

LDT the senior staff at the club aren't incompetent.  I clarified that he, Meire and Duchatelet had run the club very badly and were all incompetent.

The losses of the club were structural but due to the incompetence of this three.  LDT wasn't happy but didn't respond.

I pointed out that the last accounts showed turnover dropping to £7.3m from £7.6m  LDT said T/O was at £7.6m this year and would go higher with the play-offs.
Why is LDT judged as incompetent. As far as I can see he is only doing Roland’s bidding as an employee. Wasn’t aware he was behind any strategic  decisions.

ASked about the Bowyer situation @razil said that LB hadn't been backed at all and cited the lack of money to replace Grant.  The Maidstone apoligist said that Bowyer wants to sign a contract and it was pointed out by Steve Clarke from CAST that he hasn't signed a contract and a lot of players will be reluctant to sign when it is unclear who the manager is.

Asked why Bowyer had been given a contract he didn't understand and that wasn't "normal" LDT said they were trying to be "creative" and reward Bowyer for his work.   He was asked why this wasn't discussed with Bowyer before he was sent the contract (as Bowyer stated) and LDT said it had been. It was pointed out that this hadn't been what Bowyer said but LDT said it had.   Have now moved on and trying to agree a deal.
