“Alan Dryland (German Addicks) said he feels sympathetic towards RD, he said the club are losing £10m a year and that still 10,000 turn up to hate him. He asked what the attraction is? He said no-one is winning from it”
Firstly, there’s a German Addicks? Really?
Secondly, why on earth do they have sympathy with RD? Or is that just a poor choice of wording in the minutes?
Thirdly, is there any prospect of them goose stepping into Belgium again anytime soon and handing out some slaps?I do find this a bit bizarre. Like @Razil was there representing the Swedish Addicks. I will put myself forward to represent the French Addicks. Anyone else care to join in?

Swedish Addicks established 2005, some have supported us since 1960s, the current Chairman (who I know well and have visited several times in Stockholm and vice versa, in fact he's over now for the Gills game) since 1978, think they have 40 paid members. Shouldn't they be represented on the FF? Not sure about ze Germans, but the more the merrier in my book.. we having an 'exec' meeting tonight (pub crawl in Greenwich)11

German Addicks' first match was in May 2003. There are 5 in the group and generally when they're here all of them attend. They have covered 13 matches this season, including Wycombe away recently. They will be here for Rochdale, and two of them will be at PoTY - come along and say hello. Play-off plans are also being made. One of the guys has a chalet in his garden and this serves as club house and museum. I hope to attend the 2019/2020 season's planning session which will take place on 22 June, two days after the fixtures are published. I was there for the 2017 edition - these guys are brilliant!!31 -
I have absolutely nothing against either the Swedish Addicks or German Addicks being represented but it's a bit bizarre especially in German Addicks case when they only have five members, albeit members who have attended thirteen more matches than I have this season. I'm sure there are Charlton supporting families on here, mine included, with more members but no direct representation. As I said I just find it a bit odd.

There is much to be regretted in the present estrangement between Owner and fans. When the realisation gradually dawned that we were the wrong club for RD, matters quickly got worse. There is nothing normal about this disconnection. The Owner's departure is eternally imminent, but potential New Owners are apparently content to play a waiting game. We fans cannot escape, we can only be rescued - when will the new investors break this whole thing wide open and get the job done? There was so much goodwill waiting for RD when he took over but he never took advantage of the fact and now it will roll over, with interest, to the new lot. But if not today, when? Next week? By 30 June? Or is this is maybe a race with Crossrail?
There is only one Addicks universe and everything connected with CAFC past, present or future is in it. I can't wait for all fans to be re-enfranchised - it can't come a day too soon. I don't understand a thing of RD's involvement or any conceivable interest he retains in football. Even recently promoted FC Carl Zeiss Jena, whom he publicly used to visit quite often when at his nearby factory, have not referred to him for months as far as I have seen. And if you have something to sell don't you need a salesman? Why use a bookkeeper, pleasant chap though LdT is? RD's almost wilful mismanagement of CAFC is unquestionably in breach of EFL regulations, and a less supine organisation than the League would surely long ago have put our golden share in serious jeopardy. Charlton Athletic are on the brink - of who knows what?

Have to say I am holding back my season ticket purchase until I know the outcome of this Summer's antics - CARD are spot-on on that, particularly after January and now the Bowyer situation, not that Roley gives a sh** I assume..6

We're getting relegated to League 2.
Lee Bowyer will be leaving.
We'll only have about 5 players next season.
And where do you think he is in error?0 -

Let's face it, LDT is simply doing Duchatelet's dirty work, and is probably fairly well paid. When his job is done, he will scuttle back from where he came from, and probably will never give Charlton Athletic Football Club a second's thought. He has no affinity to the club, and if the club falls further down the football ladder, something he will be responsible for along with Duchatelet, he will feel no guilt whatsoever.
The debacle over Bowyer's contract merely emphasises his disdain towards the players, football management and supporters of this football club. If he had either a conscience, or just a smidgeon of respect for CAFC, he would be doing his best to convince his paymaster that securing Bowyer's future, along with the futures of Jackson and Gallen, must be finalised before the play-offs are upon us.
Sadly, that seems highly unlikely. As Oliver Hardy would say, 'this is another fine mess you've gotten us in to.'

i wasnt intending to sound like I was having a pop at them, just didn’t realise they even existed.
Hovever, I do also find it a bit odd that a group with 5 members gets a seat at the table, but fair play to them I guess.
Out of interest , who actually attended and who were they representing?
Who else was invited that didn’t attend?
Were Charlton Life represented / invited? What about Into the Valley and the other forums?3 -

I represent the Pornhub Addicks.
In due course, I hope to rise up and penetrate the inner sanctum of the FF before withdrawing quickly, never to be seen again.
Am taking subscriptions if anybody wants to join.14 -

And has a road named after him in Charlton, it would be nice if some old Charlton players had streets named after them1
