    A game where we didn't ever leave neutral let alone first or second gear.

    Kinda glad we didn't sign Eaves during pre season on this performance. I'd have him still but just evident that Lyle does so much more.

    Phillips: 7 apart from the slip very solid. So impressed with him. He's improved far beyond what I thought he was capable of. 

    Dijksteel: 7.5 - love this kid. Quick, strong, technically good. So nice to see him come in to his own. 

    Pearce 7 - Solid if unspectacular. 

    Sarr 8 - Yes Gillingham were bad but he was very good. Unlucky not to score. Eaves knocked over Pearse, then he knocked over Dijksteel, but he couldn't knock over Sarr. 

    Lapslie 6 - didn't do much, didn't have a lot to do. 

    Purrington 7. 5 - He just lacks that composure and quality in the final third. If he had that he'd be playing a division higher. Holy did pull off a wonderful save but he never quite seems to have the finish or the quality final ball. That said, got up and back very well and nothing went down his side. 

    Cullen 8 - A goal is the least he deserves for his season. A wonderful player. 

    Pratley 6.5 - Was there. Was booked. Is not particularly good at football. 

    Williams 7.5 - lovely little player. Still hasn't quite happened for him in the final third but he just makes chaos with his movement and ability. 

    Aribo 8.5 MOTM  - The Yaya Toure comparison is very apt. He has incredibly strength, pace, and athleticism to go along with the fact that the ball just sticks to his boot. That raking ball to Morgan from the Gills corner was magnificent  When the ball fell to him in the box there was never a doubt he would score. And he covered so much ground, he always seemed to be around the ball. The hard part going in to the playoffs is what formation and personnel do we play to get the best out of him? 

    Vetokele 7 - Worked incredibly hard. Wins more 50/50s than he should. Holds the ball up, lays it off, and then looks to turn his man. He must be a nightmare to play against. So happy to see him doing well. 

    Morgan - Good touch and the boy has an eye for a pass. He looks like he's going to be a good one. 

    Parker - Um , he's not very good at football, is he?

    Cullen: 7.5. If only that header had gone in it would have been goal of the season. 
    Pratley: 7.5. Very good. There, I’ve said it!!
    Lapslie: 6.5. Did ok. Solid and unspectacular but did his job. 
    Williams: 7. All over the place. Just lacks end product. Think it’s a confidence thing. 
    Aribo: 8.5. MOM. First full game contribution for a few weeks as he’s been having poor halves.  He was immense throughout. A class above.  
    Vetokele:7. Worked ever so hard. 
    Referee: 8. Didn’t notice him. 

    Parker: 0. Unbelievably inept.

    Didn’t see the game but I’d give them all 10, including Parker for the comedy act.

    Phillips: 7 - Made some neat saves, continues to keep it simple in what he does
    Dijksteel: 7 - Had a solid game, nothing spectacular but its not needed at this moment in time
    Pearce: 8 - Put in a typical leadership type performance
    Sarr: 7 - At the moment is one with the tag of being Mr Consistent
    Purrington: 8 - Did well getting forward today (Something I've moaned about in the past), lovely assist, unlucky not to score
    Cullen: 8 - Lovely finish for the goal, was good to see him getting into that position
    Pratley: 7 - Earned himself a silly booking but thats customary for him each game
    Lapslie: 7 - Continues to show bags of energy and still doesnt know a lost cause
    Williams: 7.5 - Got the ball forward quickly but his ball in the final third needs some improvement
    Aribo: 8.5 (MOTM) - Great goal to give us the lead, completely controlled the game, going to be crucial next month
    Vetokele: 7 - Cant really play the lone Striker, unlucky not to score again though

    Referee: 8 - Would have marked him higher as thought he was excellent but shockingly missed a few barges

    Parker: N/A (4) - Lacking confidence or match sharpness god knows what it is but will be shocked if he's here next season
    Morgan: N/A (6) - Didnt play enough to have an impact but played one delightful ball

    Phillips: 6.5 - Hugely improved since he’s come in the team. Best Charlton keeper in a while. Players and fans trust him between the sticks.
    Dijksteel: 6 - Forgot he was playing.
    Pearce: 6.5 - Had better matches.
    Sarr: 7 - Makes the game look easy
    Purrington: 6 - Should have scored
    Cullen: 8- If he wasn’t on loan I could see becoming a cult hero. Proper busy midfield who keeps winning the ball back.
    Pratley: 7 - We’ve been waiting to see this performance for ages.
    Lapslie: 6 - Forgot he was playing 
    Williams: 6 - Quiet game but another assist.
    Aribo: 9 - It’s like when your mate brings a semi professional player ringer to your Saturday pub team. This is kid mustard and will go to the top.
    Vetokele: 7 - Ran hard and showed his quality throughout.

    Phillips: 7.5 so assured now
    Dijksteel: 7.5 ever improving
    Pearce: 7.5 solid captain
    Sarr: 7.5 better side when we play out of the back with Sarr
    Purrington: 7.5 unlucky not to score, got forward well
    Cullen: 9 what a player Josh is
    Pratley: 7.5 very solid and reliable
    Lapslie: 7.5 solid and worked hard, lacks the pace and strength to play at wing back I feel, only getting better though 
    Williams: 8 sometimes too much, but he showed class and hurt them
    Aribo: 9 can’t split him and Cullen, both outstanding footballers
    Vetokele: 8 worked so hard and unlucky not to score

    Referee: 8 probably one of the best this season albeit he didn’t have much to deal with, but can’t remember making a bad decision. Played the advantage rule well and pulled things back when necessary. Good performance

    Pearce: 7  Comfortable afternoon but doesn’t  need to keep throwing himself to the floor every time he makes a challenge.

    Phillips: 7 - a good tip over in the first half but, otherwise, very little to do. A very commanding goalie, with real presence
    Dijksteel: 7.5 - his speed, physicality and powers of recovery are such that I am always confident when he's facing a one on one
    Pearce: 7 - very solid and repelled anything the Gills could muster
    Sarr: 7 - ditto
    Purrington: 7 - nothing got past him down his side. An assist for Joe's goal and nearly grabbed one himself in the second half
    Cullen: 8 - his control of the game, with Aribo, was total
    Pratley: 7 - did a good job in blunting their attacks (such as they were)
    Lapslie: 7 - usual energetic performance. Not much to do defensively but has really matured into a reliable player and has come a long way this season
    Williams: 7 - troubled them in the first half but sometimes flatters to deceive in terms of his final product
    Aribo: 9: MoTM - a sublime performance, brimming will skill, strength, vision and athleticism. What a talent
    Vetokele: 7.5 - Igor looked sharp and was a thorough nuisance throughout for their two centre halves. Very impressive and coming into form at just the right time
