Dijksteel: 7.5 Got forward really well but his final ball was often cut out.
Bauer: 8 - Good long range passing....not normally his thing but was a feature yesterday. Worked on in training or just SO much space afforded by Dale?
Sarr: 9 - Pretty faultless. So much technical ability. Scouts must be watching him and thinking he could move up one or two levels.
Purrington: 7.5 Did well to sneak in and force the own goal. One beautiful round the corner flick first half. Linked well.
Bielik: 8.5 Broke things up and then started to join in the attacks. So well balanced when he runs with the ball and had no doubt about his calmness in front of goal. More of those please.
Aribo: 9 - Lovely finish for his goal and made loads of off ball runs from deep (a new thing?) Superb with the ball at his feet...the new Paul Mortimer.
Cullen: 8.5 Some really good close control in tight areas to keep us ticking. Excellent player; Keith Jones/Matt Holland and bit of Scott Parker all in one.
Morgan: 8 - Took a while to get involved and struggled positionally with Dale's 5 man midfield but then he hit the killer ball. The lad sees things that sometimes even the crowd can't see. We'll get some goals from soon too I reckon.
Taylor: 9 Magnificent. Created havoc out wide with those whipped balls into the 6 yard area. He'll be disappointed with the header over the bar and with getting caught twice on the ball near our area but the rest of his game outshone any lesser moments.
Parker: 6 - Despite no goals and some misses, he did carry a threat and made lots of runs. The turn late on (chopped down) and the back-flick were excellent but obviously he isn't a goal-scorer (his record for all clubs shows that).

Referee: 8 - Despite the non-red, he let the game flow brilliantly and ignored any petty falling over (so the players soon stopped doing it). Helped make it such a watchable game.
Marshall: n/a Always gives everything for the team.
Pratley: n/a Thought he looked sharp and was good to see him bursting through late on.
Reeves: n/a

Referee: 0. Only had one real decision to make & he got it wrong. Willie Youngs  tackle on Paul Allen Iin the 1980 Cup Final brought in the red card rule for the "professional foul"....... Just hope we don't get a numpty like this for one if the next 3 games.

Phillips: 7 - one tip over in the first half but very little to do. Rochdale didn't even try and stifle Dillon's distribution from the back, leaving just the one man up front
Dijksteel: 7 - nothing got past him and made some decent runs forward
Bauer: 7 - a very comfortable afternoon
Sarr: 7.5 - sound defensively and his passing out from the back is a key component of the team
Purrington: 7.5 - very good. Solid at the back and is improving in his attacking play
Bielik: 7.5 - an elegant and classy player, who has improved as the season has gone on. Wins the ball back repeatedly and his goal was almost reminiscent of a young Franz Beckenbauer, especially his goal against Switzerland in the 66 World Cup - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XNp5mhI3Gk I desperately hope that he (Krystian, not Franz) is fit - and stays fit - for the duration of the Play-Offs
Aribo: 9 - an absolute box of tricks. I believe he will eventually play at the top level
Cullen: 8.5 - another dominant performance from this excellent young player
Morgan: 8 - what a prospect this lad is
Taylor: 9 - another outstanding performance
Parker: 6 - on the plus side, two good efforts on goal, a clever assist for Joe's goal and good movement and pace throughout. On the negative side, his first touch is poor and he missed a gilt edged chance. 

Referee: 5 - a clean game and therefore an easy one to officiate, although he got the one big decision wrong. Thankfully it didn't matter
