I hate Duchatelet with all my being, but it is a shame, in some ways, he won't be there tomorrow. Realistically, he would detract from the night which is all about beating Doncaster and getting to Wembley. But what I mean is that he has never understood us. And if he saw what the Valley can be like, he might just understand the potential. He doesn't deserve it, but he has a fantastic opportunity. Sadly, it is down to the abilities of Bowyer and not his vision of how football needs to develop. But why should that bother him? How can you get the stubborn, senile old fool to understand. I suppose it is impossible really.

Love that. Who'd have guessed a couple of years ago that Lee Bowyer would come back and have such a positive impact on our club? Long may it continue. Cant wait for tomorrow.
  • Loved reading that article Rick,  lets hope we can take inspiration and move on to Wembley then the Championship. COYR!

What all this shows is that if you give us something to support, we will support it. Thanks to Lee, JJ and Steve and all the players for that.

Almost a welling of a tear reading that article @Airman Brown - that something special we as Addicks fans have that can't be destroyed by Duchatelet.

Top work, Rick - fantastic read and, as you often do, captures the emotional as well as the pragmatic elements that go with supporting our truly wonderful football club.

    A fine article.

I remember feeling very proud and emotional at that end of season game against Hartlepool when we went up as L1 champions. I suspect seeing the ground full again I will feel the same this Friday evening, as will many of you.

The stirring of our support under Bowyer has been astonishing. It proves you don't need Target 10,000 if you have an inspirational manager and a set of players playing with confidence and style. Surely Duchatelet won't risk losing that - will he?

Worthy of wider circulation to the press to compare against Douchatelet 's shit he spouts!.

Never try and second guess someone who has a track record of being unhinged :smirk:
