Not really but I thought "Fans' Forum meets for first time" wasn't sensationalist enough.
According to Mr Waggott's programme notes our reps meet up with a number of directors and officials for the first time tomorrow.
Good luck to them all and especially our CL members Sacha, Terry and Dave.
If the world hasn't changed completely by 9.00 am Wednesday I am going to .......

If any of the attendees are reading this can you please take up the content of the matchday programme.....
Why oh why do we insist on printing pictures of the opposition scoring goals and their players celebrating?. I'm sure the players must flick through the programme not sure those pictures are really what they want to see! I know I don't.
Also, I used to love captains corner or whatever it was called. Don't think we have had it since Simon Webster - can we start a campaign to get it back?.

That Bloody kid does NOT have to be played during Red Red Robin - ruins it, do it when they do the stewards annoucements at about 2 o'clock :D
No but seriously, can't they do it before the players start to come out.
And do they have to do it, no one is going to pay the slightest bit of interest.
And can the pitch side announcer please not speak after the players come out, it is very annoying... that is all.

The kid apparently does have to be played, it's a requirement now at all football grounds but the timing perhaps could be altered.0

Can i just bring up the smoking issue. In the east stand, there is a bloody great huge expanse of land as you exit the lansdown mews. Why this part is non smoking is really beyond ridiculous.
I know all you non smokers are going to bitch but seriously, im not talking about along the back wall where you get drinks etc, as quite rightly non smoking but i mean beyond that when you go up the steps. Dont suppose there's any smokers on the forum is there?0 -

a couple of stewards over by the gate and you're standing 20 yards away.
Ok you can go outside the gate and have your fag but not inside, where you would be standing even closer to the stewards. Ill go outside the gate and blow smoke through the gates next week.
i dont really care about smoking at football, im a part time smoker but to me that rule for that area seems bloody stupid.0 -
Totally agree Curb It............the non smoking ban now has gone over the top,i admit i am a smoker, but be it a social one, if someone wishes to smoke then why cant they have there own designated area, the amount of stewards at the match let them earn there money instead of just standing around while the match is on0

Count me in for the "bring back smoking somwhere in the ground" (BBSSITG) campaign;
At Hibernian acouple of years back I asked a steward if I could pop outside for a ciggie at half-time. He let me, then tried to charge me £15 to get back in. Told him to stick a lighted fag where the sun don't shine !0 -

Couldnt agree more.... play that kid at 2 when the ground is empty not just as the atmosphere gets going as the players come out... its embarresing!0 -
I think it is a requirement and playing it at 2 wouldn't have the desired effect of reaching the majority of people. I agree the timing should be changed instead of it clashing with the players coming out, but playing it at 2 I'm sure is not going to happen.0

it does need to be moved though. The teams line up, the players run to the fans, there should be a big cheer and a sing song happening, and all you can hear is a whining kid.
I can't see any reason why it can't be done at 2.45.
And just as an example of how it doesn't work anyway, i have no idea what its about as i switch off as soon as i hear the voice.0 -
2.45 could work - if the stadium is full enough. god knows what the requirement is. I think saying it is "embarrassing" and "very annoying" is a bit ott though.

If this first Fans Meeting does not result in away fans being moved out of the South Stand, smoking being permitted in certain areas of the ground & news of our next three January signings we should all protest at the next home game.....Rothko OUT :-)0

When the screen goes back from the advert to the squads, it flashes up our badge, so i have started shouting Swoooooorrrrrrrrrdddd - no one else joins in tho0
