    i only want what they have said rather than what the person they have quoted has said

    then press quote, it will repeat it all, then delete out the bits you don't want.

    No WSS, you go down to the "enter your comments box" and delete the bits you don't want in your quote box before you post- you don't have to go back into a posted message to edit it. TRY AGAIN!!!
